Seeking a Fiber Optic Jointer to connect and splice optical fibers, ensuring reliable communication in telecommunications networks. Requires specialized skills and experience with fiber optic equipment.
Min 3 Years experience as Fiber Optic Jointer
Experience in ELV System as an added advantage.
OTDR Testing with Fluke or EXFO, FO Cable Blowing, LSPM Testing, Copper Cable Testing & Installation
Connect and splice optical fibers to establish communication links in fiber optic networks.
Perform fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and connectorization of fiber optic cables.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper signal transmission and network functionality.
Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic equipment, including cables, connectors, and patch panels.
Interpret and follow engineering plans, diagrams, and specifications for fiber optic installations.
Use specialized tools and equipment, such as fusion splicers, OTDRs (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers), and power meters.
Perform optical fiber testing and measurement, including loss testing, dispersion testing, and reflectance measurements.
Identify and rectify fiber optic network faults, including fiber breaks, signal degradation, and connectivity issues.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working with fiber optic cables and equipment.
Document and report all work performed, including splicing records, test results, and network documentation.
